5 Steps for Using an Electric Smoker

Step 1: Ensure that Your Smoker is in a Safe Place

Your first course of action should be ensuring that your smoker is in a safe place. You should never set up your smoker in your garage or any other enclosed space. Always make sure that you set it up in a well-ventilated and fireproof area.

Also, confirm that you have placed your smoker on a firm, flat surface that can sustain its weight. If possible, look for a concrete surface on your property and make it your safe and secure smoke zone.

Step 3: Add Wood Chips to the Smoker
